I felt like walking on cloud. The lack of oxygen in the high altitude area made me feel dazed. The mountain hills standing up along the trail were looking down on me showing the greatness. A thin fog was surrounding the trail and I was walking into the fog, but I wasn’t able to get into it. As I got closer to the fog, it kept stepping back. And my body was drained after four days of hiking Himalaya. I was exhausted, but at the same time, I was fulfilled with the expectation that I, soon, could see the planet’s highest peak.
All of this made the place surreal. In fact, it was the best moment of this journey, because everything is more attractive before you possess it. And the destination was right over there. I was a step before possessing the moment of witnessing the majestic.
